Lance F. Grenevicki, DDS, MD, FACS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Since 1989, Dr. Grenevicki has dedicated studies to the head & neck region with an emphasis on correcting facial deformities, an interest that sprouted while earning a DDS degree at the Medical College of Virginia. Between 1993 and 1999 he trained in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Kansas City, Missouri where many European techniques in cranio-maxillo-facial surgery were first brought into the USA.

Over the years, Dr. Grenevicki has presented lectures on facial surgery and wound healing at national meetings and has authored papers published in surgical literature. While attending medical school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City he won a research competition award for scholarly activity, and soon after was inducted into Alpha-Omega-Alpha medical honor society. He held a faculty appointment as Courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Florida in the Department of Surgery of Shand’s Hospital for five years during that time he founded the Institute of Facial Surgery in Melbourne, Florida where he currently practices. He is a fellow of the Amercan College of Surgeons (FACS), the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery; and a proud member of numerous other component organizations like the Florida Dental Association and the Florida Medical Association.

An active member of the medical staff, Dr. Grenevicki served as chairman of the Medical Records Committee, the Surgical Quality Improvement Committee, the Operating Room Committee, and was a member of the Fair Hearing Committee, the Medical Quality Committee, and the Medical Executive Committee all at 514-bed Holmes Regional Medical Center, where he was the Chief of Surgery. He also is on staff at Palm Bay Community Hospital and Wuesthoff Medical Center - Melbourne where he is Chief of Staff.

Currently, Dr Grenevicki is past president of the Florida Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Brevard County Dental Society, and Brevard County Medical Society. Additionally, he holds a governor’s appointment to the Florida Cancer Control and Research Advisory Board, and has served on the Task Force of the Joint Commission on Accreditation Hospital Organizations.
